Hi There,

I'm glad to have found this forum, a problem shared is a problem solved!

I own a computer shop in the Uk, and have slowly found myself collecting a few vintage computers. This is what I have so far..

1x Commodore 64 (Breadbox style) - Working
1541, cassette deck & action replay for above.

1x Amiga 500+ - Working

1x Amiga 1200 (ACA 1230 Accelerator & 4GB CF Drive) - Working

1x BBC Model B - Recently repaired PSU, Working

3x Commodore PET 8296 - (2 Recently repaired, 1 being repaired/diagnosed)
(edit forgot to add) 4x 8250 LP disk drives - not even looked at these yet.

1x ZX spectrum 48k - Recently repaired Keyboard & composite mod, Working
Interface 1, Microdrive & Dual joystick adaptor for above.

I think that's all, for now.

I will be posting a few questions regarding the PET's on the forums, as they are presenting the biggest challenge.

Thanks everybody....

welcome! nice little collection you've got started there. glad to see anybody new collecting this stuff. most people would (sadly) throw this stuff into the garbage. sad, sad, sad.

Welcome to the forums.

We have had a bunch of PETs break down recently. Must be a disease going around or something.:)

Actually, until recently, the PET's have been dead the 3 years I have owned them and dead 25 years for the time the previous owners had them. I have only recenty had the time to look at them in more detail. They all needed UE6 PLA chips, although one has more issues.

Welcome :) As others said, nice collection there. Always glad to see new members arrive. Hope we can help you with any questions you have. Already sounds like you're a benefit to the community as you've diagnosed those PETs.
