How to fix the Socket-A Lever issue?

Friends,

My Socket-A's Lever is not locking.
Not exactly broken, just wear and tear thing.....

Pls suggest any hack to fix this issue.

Take the CPU out and make sure with the level up, you try to slide it in a little more. Either that or the tab on the socket broke off. In that case, hot glue the lever down...

All I see is an Intel mainboard with Socket 5. Where's the Socket A you are talking about?

Also, if you fix something, why not tell how you did it, so others may know as well?

Its Socket 4.

Fixed using just a plastic pcs and super-glue.
