Recently acquired a Laser 286/2 system but need info on jumpers, etc. Google can't seem to find much about it. Anyone know of anything on this motherboard?

I've searched ultimateretro.net and I can't find it in there. Does it boot in it's current config?

No, unfortunately it does not. I have a VGA Wonder and Et4000 card I have tried in several slots and the video won't initialize. I also can't hear the memory being tested (assuming this one does that). They keyboard lights flash, however, I assume that is just the controller initializing.

Thanks for all the responses. This will be a good little challenge for me. So far, no beeps and no video. Might try to get an ISA Post card. I am going to Kansasfest this week, so I will pick this back up next week.

Just a quick update. Still no documentation but I'm found one of the chipset chips had a bent pin. Fixing that brought the board back to life. It is a nice little 12 MHz machine. Now I just have to find drive rails...

I added some more DIP RAM and got it up to 2M. Then during the testing one of the two RIFAs blew out in the PS but I got that all fixed up.

I can send more pics
Regarding photo #1:

1. That battery has started to leak. I can tell by the little bits of green that are starting to appear in various places, for example, some of the pins of the large chip.
At [here] is a photo of what things can look like down the track. You need to remove the battery.

The battery can be replaced with a 3.6V NiMH type. I can see these small barrel shaped ones on eBay (search text of: 3.6v nimh). Be sure to check the dimensions, particularly the distance between the pins.

2. See the following photo. If that blob is solder, then it needs to be removed. It may just 'flick' off.
