It's already been relisted at least once. Kind of grungy but at least complete, working and with docs. Probably not more than 2x what he'll get for it.

Don't know about 'grungy', certainly not museum quality but I've seen (and own!) much worse ;o).

Agree that it's somewhat overpriced though!!

Yeah - I didn't mean to sound harsh - just the gunk on the bezel. Front panel is OK with a couple of chips and the inside looks pretty clean.

BTW I bought an exact same PDP-11/60 console that the vendor is listing for $1200 ... for $100 ... and it was really too much to pay, but I really wanted it. Admittedly not 'brand new', but in near perfect condition none-the-less.

Be interesting to see if any of this stuff sells.

The $6,900 TU55 came up in my saved searches, and I posted on CCtalk a short while ago about my sticker shock. I didn't look at the seller's other items until I found this thread. Yeah… I guess my initial hunch that the prices were a bit "ambitious" was correct, then?

Hey, if MRV11 PROM boards are really worth a grand, then I should sell off all three of mine. Too bad I don't have seven of them so I could finance that TU55 drive…
