Imagine my surprise to accidentally run across this site online.

I'm hoping I can ask questions about antiquated items without being mocked here!

I'm planning to ask about computers for an old WP5.1 DOS word processing - trying to figure out the right forum(s) for that.

The line is a bit more fuzzy that anyone would like. Asking for recommendations on buying hardware to run a specific DOS software (in your case WP5.1) could go either way really. And honestly, if you put it in the wrong place, a mod can easily just move it. I promise we won't light the effigies and sharpen the pitch forks if you put it in the wrong place :D

Okay, I took the leap. I wasn't so very worried about pitchforks. After all, as a user of the ancient WP5.1, I'm used to being derided unmercifully.

By the way, why does the Off-Topic section seem to still be all-tech? Why doesn't anyone post about movies, or travel, or politics or food?
