Yeah, same thing happens to me from time to time. I want to maximize a vintage hardware I own.
You can also save a search in ebay with 128k dip-32 high speed, from worldwide location. You might get informed if an attractive-priced pops up, but those 128K x 8 are pretty rare and it's hard to find something cheap. Those $5 per chip (if they are the correct ones) are probably all you can get.

Well, if you're after fast (15nsec) 128Kx8 async SRAM in a 0.300" DIP, about all I can find that meets that is the Alliance AS7C1024-15TPC. I'm certain that given, the time since last manufacture, that it's going to be hard to find.
