been using it for years now, I dont think I've ever mentioned it here or not... they are now up to v10. Its free and has just about EVERY diagnostic / utility and even a live boot to a limited xp environment. I can not say enough good things about this offering.... :D

ps.. you can also put this package on a bootable flash drive....

Part 2, is a Windows Autorun menu system and it includes a ton of Windows apps for repairing systems, gathering data on them and just cleaning them out.

And Part 3 is ERD Commander 2005 from Sysinternals. Does a very good job of resurrecting dead windows machines, resetting passwords, analyzing error logs, editing the registry etc.

I need to re-think this and bring out a new version that has more tools or at least updated tools.

I have used UBCD and was impressed by it. I like the look of Hiren's BootCD and may try it at some point.

No, that is the "specialised server calibration tool", we have one at work, 6lb sledge, for "fixing" shipping damage to chassis, usually due to very insufficient pack... and when informed of non-warranty coverage, they usually decline to get it fixed... so we "fix" it ourselves.
