Hi guys
Firstly, thanks to the mods on making the P1 genre, I quite like it
Now, on to business...
I have a P1 mobo at home which I would like to get up and running again. Now, the mobo has a COAST slot, and if I recall, I may have 1 or 2 of these COAST modules laying about. Now the thing is, apparently you got a 32bit and a 64bit module, the 32bit ones being for the 486/5x86 boards and the 64bit for P1 boards. The modules I have at home don't have any markings/stickers on them to be able to identify what they are.
Would it be a bad idea to just plug them in and see what happens? Then secondly, what benchmarking app would you guys recommend to check if the cahce is actually active and test it to see if there is a speed difference between the 2 sticks?
Thanks!
