    using Dave Dunfield's IMD on a U.K. Amstrad 1640 xt

    Has anyone managed to read a 40T SS SD Model 1 disk on an Amstrad 1640 using Dave's IMD program? I'm not having much success at the moment, and wondered, if you've managed it, what are your parameters/command line options. Any help would be appreciated.

    USB power for the M100

    Why is postage from the U.S. to G.B. so expensive nowadays? There's a USB power supply for the Model 100, on Ebay, at US$5, which looks a really neat and useful bit of kit However, the postage to the U.K. is US$25!!! It ups the voltage from 5v to 6v - how is that achieved? Here's the Ebay...
