Doesn't anyone else want to BBS with their PET?

There was a program published in the TorPet that turned the parallel port into a 300 baud RS232 like (only 0 to +5V) interface. This worked well with a acoustic modem that was sold by Active Surplus in Toronto. I recall getting it working around ~1980. I used it to contact a number of bulletin boards in the Toronto area, and Sudbury where I grew up. There was dialer project as well I recall that I got working as using the dial was a pain as the lines were so busy. Fun times.

I have the Stupid PET tricks module (along with a SD2PET for "hard drive" support). I also have PETTerm.
But while the keyboard of my 4032 is much nicer than the original "calculator" keyboards that the PET has, BBSing on it is not real fun. The keyboard layout is pretty bad for touch typing.
