Macintosh IIFX with TI MicroExplorer LISP processor card

Just the board. I have some software at http://bitsavers.org/bits/TI/MicroExplorer if you need it. I'd be interested in a known complete set of the later versions if you have it.

I doubt that I do. There were no Texas Instruments floppies and the seller said that the discs, 1 internal and 2 external, had been wiped.

On another note:

The batteries look pretty good, but I have no idea how old they are. How do you open the battery compartments? I tried to slide them and also tried to pull them up, but I did not want to apply too much pressure.

In the listing it says 4.1, 5.0, 6.0 and 6.1. Are those software versions? Have you seen any programs that were written to run on the microExlorer? Are there any hobbyist AI groups? I did a bit of a search, but found nothing so far…

Yes. I don't know how complete the 6.1 rev is. I think these are all just the base system with some TI options in the case of the Explorer releases.

I don't know of any official groups for the Explorer/Microexplorer. There are a few people around with board sets. A Explorer emulator exists

Probably the most active old lisp revival group right now is for Xerox Interlisp-D http://interlisp.org

Their motivation is to get their old lispm apps running

So far I have not seen any Ti manuals or floppy disks.

Do any of these markings have any meaning for you?
