Supersoft HR-40(b) hi res graphics board

I am late to the party. Thorougly impressed by thr photos posted in the first few posts. Is anyone looking to reproduce this board?
 
Looks like one was started but Im not sure a board was ever made.

While we have one, I'm not overly excited about removing all the IC's to photograph as its now installed and working.

If someone has a picture of a bare board, I would do the Kicad

I have built up all of them and they are functional … I also created print routines in machine code to output to 4022,8023p and the 3022

The HR-40(B) and the HR-80 are for the 6545 machines and the HR-40 is for the none-CRTC machines

Can't read German but there are pictures of the HR-40 there.
 
Ghaa !

The HR-80 works perfectly on our 8032-SK which I had out for repairs...

Right up until you try to fit it in the case and find the transformer hits the board before you can close the case :(

Ah well, time to repair the 8032.

If it is a chiclet keyboard pet with static 6550/6540 chips then no. If you have a dynamic ram pet with 4116 and basic 2/4 roms then the HR-40 will work. The only hi res board I know for the 6550/6540 board is possibly the MTU with side connector….

Shame. I was hoping it would work and be the penultimate video upgrade.

HAL 6500 Nachbau - VzEkC e. V.

Now not to overload the project file here but would be great to have the HAL PCG 6500 reverse engineered … so you can have programmable character rom…the supersoft hr boards also have programmable char roms but you cannot play some of the HAL games…
